## Use ThermoFluid Studio at your own engineering risk

ThermoFluid Studio is an engineering **modeling aid**. It helps you build and
solve simplified, steady-state models of thermodynamic and fluid-flow
systems. It is a tool for exploration and understanding — not an authority.

**ThermoFluid Studio can be wrong.** Its results come from simplified models and
third-party fluid-property data, and may contain errors or be unsuitable
for your specific situation.

**You are the engineer. You are responsible for what you build.** Before
you rely on any result from ThermoFluid Studio for a real design, decision, or
system, you must independently verify it — with hand calculations,
established references and standards, physical testing, and review by a
qualified (and where required, licensed) professional.

**Do not use ThermoFluid Studio as the sole basis for any decision where a
mistake could hurt someone or cause damage.** That includes anything
safety-critical or life-critical — pressure vessels, refrigeration and
HVAC equipment, power and process systems, and the like. If a failure
could cause death, injury, property damage, or environmental harm, the
Software's output is a starting point only, and must be independently
verified and tested by qualified people.

ThermoFluid Studio is provided "as is", with no warranties of any kind, and to the
maximum extent permitted by law the provider is not liable for how you use
it or for anything you design, build, or decide with it. Full terms,
including the warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability, are in the
Terms of Service.

By using ThermoFluid Studio you confirm that you understand and accept this.
